Community Transport Calderdale
We provide a range of transport services to help you get out and about. We promise to provide every service with individual needs in mind.
About Us
Community Transport Calderdale helps local people experiencing low mobility, ill-heath or disability, or at risk of isolation, to get out of the house, have fun and connect with others.
· Our Volunteer Car Service helps older and less-able people connect with friends at lunch clubs, singing, exercise and dance groups, art and craft groups, men's groups, etc. We also take clients to visit friends and family, shopping, and to appointments.
· We run "Out & About" day trips in accessible minibuses for local groups including residents associations, clubs and societies, care homes and schools, working with 100+ community groups.
Our NHS-funded health services support people in Calderdale & Kirklees.
· Seamless Home from Hospital, run in partnership with AgeUK Calderdale & Kirklees, takes patients home from hospital and helps them settle in at home.
· We take groups of patients to Pulmonary and Long Covid Clinics
· Our Outpatients service, part of the Volunteer Car Service, takes patients to hospital appointments.
